are those reliable? they look good, have a 4L+ engine, and they are dirt cheap

hehe, way more than 4L, more like 400+ Cubic Inches.

They get pretty lousy gas mileage because of the huge ass engines, but they run like a tank as long as you keep them cool.

Just be sure to get one with the 500ci motor. That thing will run until the wheels fall of the car.

maybe 10-12 mpg if you can keep you foot out of it......

they switched to fwd somewhere in there...might want to keep that in mind while you're looking/researching...

10-12? I was thinking more 7-10.

my friend got 12.5 mpg on a 200 mile highway trip in his '72 Coupe Deville with the 500 cu. in. V8

Like he said, "keep your foot out of it" and you'll get 12. If you want to make the car actually accel quick, you're looking at 5-8 probably. Also, it might need 93+ octane depending on what year.
