i've noticed you posted a lot of different threads in regards to you motor swap and i was thinking maybe i can answer then all in one shot since i recently got a b16a swap in my 92 cx. Ok heres a rundown of motors you can choose from
b16a first gen - 88-91 JDM crx/civic sir or JDM integra XSI
b16a second gen - 92-95 JDM civic sir2
b16a3 third gen?- USDM vtec del sol
b16a third gen?- USDM 99-00 civic si
y1 tranny - cable clutch
y2 tranny - hyrdro clutch
there are many more tranny versions but basically if you get a jdm motor it will most likely be one of the above.
your car is a 92 civic dx non vtec i'm guessing manual right? if you want to drop the b16a in you will need the motor - which should come with intake manifold exhaust manifold the block and head and most likely the tranny. you will need to get motor mounts or motor mount adapters to fit the motor in the car because you only have 3 motor mounts whereas the b16a has four. also you will need new axles if you get a first gen b16a you will need 92-93 integra ls axles if you get any other gen you will need 94-95 integra GSR/LS axles. Also you will need a new ecu from a vtec motor such as 92-95 civic si/2000 civic si/ integra gsr. Also since you have a 92 then it is a hydro clutch therefore you should get the second gen motor or newer because those have hydro tranny if you get first gen (which has cable clutch) you will need an adapter to make it work with you car. since it is a 92 (it's made in canda right?) it should come with a wiring harness direct from japan so therefore you don't need a new wiring harness you only need to run one extra wire for the vtec. Also if you want to keep the A/C you might need to get a bracket for it too. also is your cat attached like vertically in front of your car as opposed to being under your car? cause the stock cat will not fight onto the b16a exhaust manifold therefore you will need to get new piping, i suggest you get a new cat back system. and i think that should be all, but i have this feeling i'm forgetting something but if you have any more questions just post them or email me

i know your from cali what i was saying is that most of the EG civics were made in canada just pop the hood and right below the release latch for your hood it should say honda of canada or made in canada or something. but basically if you ask a regular mechanic they won't know, you have to ask a import tuner shop, i'm pretty sure there are some in oakland just find a shop that does motor swaps then go there (don't call cause talking on the phone won't help as much) and show then your car and ask then what you need, basically just make it like you want to buy the motor from them and have then do the labor
