my shocks and springs are shot on my 90 LX, i want to know where to go to drop it like 2 inches, i figure, why not do suspension work when it needs to be done anyways. my cousin suggested APEX, i'm going to call them later today, where else should i go, cause i have already have plans to order my springs from Summit. i have heard that springs are not the type of thing you do in your drive way unless you know what you are doing, which i don't, so if you uys could help me out. i would appreciate it.

it is pretty easy to do. i'm pretty sure the suspension setup is almost the same as on my sn95 and my car was a snap. the best thing was, you dont need spring compressors! for the front you just pull the tie rods out and drop the springs; the back you just undo part of the lower arm and drop em. sounds kinda dangerous, but all the tension is gone so the wont spring at you. with a friend, you can probably do it in 3-4 hours including the struts/shocks.

Spring are easy to do. Me and a buddy put springs in his Mustang in his driveway with regular tools and a couple rented compressors. Easy job. Keep in mind and drop more than 1.0-1.5 inches will require caster/camber plates and steering rack offset bushings.
