I was thinking of doing a headlight conversion on my 86 Lude and givin it some 97 lude headlights. so what yeall think? i wasgonna do it because those dam flip up lights are getting a lil old...

It's a waste of time and a waste of money. Also, it will be considered rice.
do what you want man....its your ride. You are the only one that has to live with it. Do other people's opinion really matter. If you like it do it, and dont care what others think...thats just my humble opinion...late

He's got a point. Everyone these days just does mods because they are "in" and "cool". F that!!! If you like a mod, do it!!! Be original. Its YOUR ride, not everyone elses!

That would probably be a first but it's a damn neat idea.I would check maybe in making sure the angle of light housing is going to shine the lights down on the road and not into the squirrels in the trees.:D
You may wanna consider getting a '97 carbon fiber hood too then.The edges could be trimmed down to match the OG 84 easier say, then the metal hood of the '97?

*But an engine swap and turbo sounds more appealing to me.;)
