I know this forum is slow but I will try to pick it up. Well, as everyone knows now, i work for BMW and traded in my old M3 for the new CSL. I have a 3 month wait because of the fatc that the car does not exist in Japan and it has to come from Munich. Perks. I have asked this question before but I think it got deleted when the boards were redone. Like Mugen is to Honda, What is to BMW? I mean part manufactures that make specificly for BMW. I know about Schnitzer but what are the others? Reason why I am asking is I still have a month to change my order. I am deciding between the M3 CSL or M3 Cabrio. If I go with the Cabrio, then I have some upgrades that could be done like suspension and stuff. The CSL is just raw power at 360 HP off the lot. Cant argue with that. 343 HP for the Cabrio. The most importaint will be suspension. This is what they boath look like.

Actually I made my mind up and took the CSL over the convertible. I wonder though....is there anything you can really do to a CSL to modify it?

Seeing as the CSL has yet to touch US soil, my experience with it is rather limited to what i've read elsewhere.

Mods for it would likely fall under any designed for the M3; however, i'm not sure how far they'd go, seeing as the CSL is already upped from the original powerplant.

Dinan's a good place to start. Congrats.

No to my knowledge they're staying away from the US.

How much are you paying for it if you don't mind my asking? Are you getting an employee discount? ;)

ummmm yeah......... anyways, Ive seen lots on the CSL and it seems as though that it is really nothing more than a stripped down and beefed up M3 (not that that is bad.), so I'd assume that all M3 parts are available for it. Try Korman Autwerks, Kellener Sport, and MCR if the others dont suit your tastes.
