I have a fucked up shift knob also. I can pull it off when ever I want to.lol :gamer: I'm getting a new shifter in a week or two anyway.
The girl that I was racing was talking shit when I got back to the parking lot, so I was trying to fix my handle to race her again, but the cops came before I could fix it. I have like 10 bolts and wrenches in my glove box now.

First of all, no one said anything about not liking the threads you made. Second of all, that "472 > all" attitude will go no where with us here on SRO.
Third, next time run a spell check before making videos public. Doing so makes you look smarter than you really are.

Dont worry about my attitude because I'm an asshole. But that has nothing to do with my car because I don't care if someone ever beats that thing. If I get beat this weekend, then I'll post that one too. My videos are fine. Most people like them. If you don't, then don't watch them. They were made as a joke because the people involved in those videos wanted me to post them. I just passed them along to this board. But if it makes you feel better, I can start having the college students that work for me spell check before I post anymore. Then I'll feel smarter than you really are.

Yes, your holier than thou attitude, exhibited by the "faster than most of the cars on here" and you constantly talking about how you have people working for you. The actual chain of events was someone else pointed out your grammar mistakes, then you respond with your jab at the cars on here, and then I ASKED what your deal is. There was no shit talking, and I didn't take your "joke" video wrong, if your reading comprehension skills are up to it, scroll up and realize I said nothing about the video, just your arrogance.
The joke was about my friend that posts on here, not you. Nor was it directed at you. The faster than most cars on here is true so thats a dead issue. I seem to be the only one of us that can read since I caught all that in my post. Basically, we can let this die and enjoy the video or continue a useless argument. In person, my friends and I are a lot harder on each others cars than you will ever see here so you should'nt take it personally.

Where have I put my foot in my mouth? I asked you a simple question, that you have yet to come up with a response to. As far as college, and not knowing what I'm doing with my life, thats a completely baseless and invalid argument. How does going to college mean one doesn't know what they're doing in life? Either you're speaking from personal experience(and you can't judge everyone else on your own experience), or you're talking about something you know nothing about(which you seem to have made a habit of). I'm curious, what do you do for a living?
I seem to know excactly what I'm talking about. I made a statement saying that the cars in the video were faster than most since everyone wanted to talk shit about it. Going to college means paying someone to teach you how to get a job then paying them for the next ten years for that vast knowledge that just might get you enough to buy a house someday. My own experience was based on starting and running a successful business. Nothing like most, if not all of the people on this site. And what I do for a living is make money and have fun with my slow car.

College is an exercise in teaching people HOW to think and apply knowledge....much different than the high school "rote" method.
Teaching how to get a job is a Tech Institute or VOTECH endeavor.

You still don't understand that no one said anything about the cars in the video.
College is paying someone to teach you how to get a job? You're right, the Engineers, Doctors, Lawyers, and Economists should all just dive head first into the job market, with no prior education. You can just guess your way through surgery, right? Pedestrian bridges collapsing? Fuck, that’s just part of the learning curve man! Let me ask you a question, if college is such a waste of time, and anyone who goes is stupid, and has no direction, why do you have such morons working for you? Now come on, enlighten us about what type of business you run.
I did'nt say that people were stupid for going to college. They make for good business. This started because of a college kid trying to correct grammar on his high horse as if he knew something about life that made him better than others. On top of that, not many lawyers get paid well. Doctors pay a fortune for schooling...along with spending several years at it. I hire college students because they have the mentality to do what they are told and that makes for good employees. Since you're pressing me on the issue, I import cellular accessories from China and wholesale them to retailers throughout N. America. Some people like the safety they believe a college education offers. Business owners take a different approach using business tactics and either sink or swim.
Obviously your just fucking stupid or do you not remember this,

That doesn't make sense; it has nothing to do with what anyone knows about life, it does have to do with you looking like a fool.
Initially, that is true, however, in the long run they get paid extremely well.
Is it really a bad thing to have people willing to shell out the cash and time to become doctors? Your logic on this one is, once again, completely irrational.
Ohhhhh, that explains it, you're a middleman. Guess what, if it weren’t for the sheep herds going to college, to learn about electronics, no one would invent or develop cellular technology. Now where does that leave you? I'm sure you could pick up the slack in dog shit distributing; you've already got the oral distribution part down pretty well. Keep it up champ!
Your sound pretty fucking ignorant now. You are talking about things that you really dont know about. Most attorneys dont get paid well and never do. Most have to go back to college for another try. I'm not the middleman in anything. I own the factory in China, I own the business front in America. Where am I the middleman? Dont try to press me about what I make anymore man. I see that once again we are feeding on each other over things that have nothing to do with cars.
I would have to agree with 472 on some of the college graduate statements. I have found that most graduates do not make anywhere near the amount of money that they were expecting to receive after graduating. Further more, most of them spend time in "apprentice" style mentoring programs learning whatever specialty their employer's business consists of. Their education is just a tool that is used to provide a certain base level of knowledge, and hopefully discipline. Hopefully it's worth the years and money spent getting that knowledge and discipline. I do believe that it is probably easier to eventually make more money over a given lifetime, but is most definitely is not guaranteed. Now the question is whether or not employers should hire a college graduate that they will have to train anyway, or hire a non-college grad and put their time in training them for that four years or more.
As a for instance, my employer has requirements for both. We have a chief engineer who is a graduate with many previous years of engineering experience. He hires non-college graduates to work under him. Why? Because it is more economical for the business to train these other aspiring engineers for a couple of years at a lower salary than it is to try and hire another group of graduates, who expect a higher salary, but don't have the experience to do the job and would have to be trained anyway. Now a couple of these non-grads make good money, and given the state of the U.S. manufacturing market, I would wager that they are doing better off than some (not all) of their college graduating counterparts that we turn away every year.
I'm not sure why I felt that I needed to comment, but as a person who never graduated from college, but did spend 10 years in the military working for people who did and who thought that they were better than me, I guess it hits a nerve. I have been working in this company for a while now, and have shown that I am a capable and trustworthy worker, and have been awarded appropriately for this. I fill a niche in the company that does not require a degree in a specialized field to be effective and proved that just because I don't have a degree doesn't mean that I do not make a good salary or have any chance at a prosperous future.
For now, I think it's still better for someone to go to college and get their degree. I think you can find prospective jobs easier, and usually get more money than someone without a degree. However, in the future, I do believe that there will be a shift in education towards more specialized training programs and corporate sponsored schooling as fields become more focused.
And don't worry I won't be working on anybody's brain any time soon...except to evacuate their gray matter maybe, because I know that I am no doctor.
Sorry for the longwinded babbling.
I understand LT.
And thanks for the link K. I used it to get an idea of what I should be pulling down in my field, once I complete my minimum experience threshold. Only 6 more years to go...whoohoo!

I don't know why you're trying to respond. Your the same guy who came on another site like your car was badass then punked out on racing my "12-second car". And my transmission breaking was because of ASE techs were trying to put something together that was beyond there means. Enough with the assertions, either PROVE what you're saying, or admit you're wrong. We have statistical data, and I have personal experience that says otherwise.
How many attorneys do you know? Actually, I know damn well that I know more of them than you but as usual you want to try and argue about shit that you dont know anything about. You've changed the topic about 5 times(basically whenever it suits you). All you've proven is that you argue about anything and everything. And whats funny is that you just throw out some BS which is way off base. Arguing with a business owner about business? We're done man. Seriously, you would argue with Donald Trump about how to make money too I bet.
