where is the clutch releasing? if it's not releasing at the floor it's most likly something other than a adjustment problem, a clutch usually just doesn't get out of adjustment, something starts failing (slave/master if the system is hydrolic), or as with my car something breaks (pressure plate, throw out bearing explode ect)

check your brake fluid. if its low top it off and then check to see if the clutch is any tighter... i had the same problem with my accord and they're pretty much the same setup as the prelude . the brake fluid did the trick for me.

If you have hydro. clutch, then it could be your master or slave or both cylinder going out. Ppl recommend reaplcing both at the same time. Check for leaks around the master/slave, and maybe if you need a fluid flush first.
