ZX3 FOCUS VS GALANT

The other night on my way home from work this car starts riding my ass, so i was like WTF is this guy doing. I slow down a little bit to see if he will pass me and he flies by and I see that its some young guys about my age in a galant so I downshift and run them down. I look up about 500 yards in front of us and the light was turning yellow so I was about to shit myself because I was so happy. Torque is where its at in the focus. So this guy pulls up and looks over at me thinking his car is the shit, I'm not sure what year it is but it looked fairly new and had kind of darker color wheels on it. My car is completely stock (not for long) and only has about 1000 miles on it so I don't want to really dog it yet so I thought if this guy starts to pull on me ease off because I don't want to fuck up myn car. I bring the revs to about 2 and the light turned green. WOW did I pull his ass, in 1st I had probably 2 car lenghts on him then I spun 2nd and pulled 1 or 2 more lenghts on him and back off because I was so far ahead. As I shift to 3rd this guy comes up to my side and mashed it and I heard the car shift and started laughing because it was an automatic. I just left it in third caught the guy and pulled about 3 cars on him, I hit the flashers to let him know I was done and took my turn to go home. The funny thing is that I saw the guy in the car at the mall one day (Ilive in a small town) and he asked me if I was runnig nitrous or had turbo but when I told him that he was all stock he about cried. He said that he hasn't been beat like that in a while and he also said that the GALANT WAS TURBOED which I think may be bullshit because he should have been able to kill me if thats true. Oh well it was still really fun and the thing that makes me happy is that he thought that I was on the bottle. I LOVE MY FOCUS

why didn't u get the hatchback...they r lighter and faster....specially when the svt version comes out of them!

i got the se sport....the same drivetrain as the zx3 just a little bit longer and maybe 100~200lbs heavier than the hatch. i actually like the sedans more than the hatch....but if i could get a new one it would be the rs or the svt....the rs dominates the svt.ford needs to incorporate cosworth in more of the building of the fast sub contact cars...
