i have a 1990 ford probe lx (V6) and i know that this engine is the same in the mazda mx6 so i was wondering if engine parts for the mx6 would fit on the ford.

again, please don't answer questions that you don't know the answer to
the 1990 Probe V6 engine was NEVER used in ANY mazda. it used the 3.0L OHV Ford Vulcan V6. This engine was used in FWD orientation in 3.0L Taurus/Sable models, the V6 Tempo/Topaz, and early 3.0L Windstars. It was also used in RWD form in the 3.0L Ranger & Aerostar. The best way to find parts for it is to try to make parts made for the ranger fit. There are also a handful of parts made for the Vulcan Taurus that would probably fit.

so was it badged as a gt? or still the lx model or whatever it was called.

In 1st Gen the GT had a 2.2L Turbo 4 cyl. and the LX had the 3.0L Vulcan, the GL had the 2.2L N/A 4 cyl.
In second gen the GT had a 2.5L DOHC Mazda V6 and the SE had a 2.0L Mazda 4 cyl.

the kl-ze fits into the probe, thats what your thinking some parts liek the probe gt headers fit on this check out www.corksport.com for parts and info.
