i have a 87 buick century t-type and ive been trying to get it to start for a while. it sounds like the engine is not getting any gas. when you trun the key you can hear the fuel pump going. i think it might be the fuel pump or the fuel injectors, any ideas. i used the code scanner from my beretta and it got code 12 which says "diagnostic test is working properly. (engine computer verifies no rpm refrence pulses are present during engine off testing.) what does this mean?, is it just tellling my that the scanner is working and the engine is off? do you think it might be the spark plugs or wires or something along that line?

pop the fuel lines. if gas squirts out, then its probably the injectors. Are you sure youre getting spark too? Check the coil, then the rotor, and finally the plugs.
