I've been trying to find anything I can on this car (I do like the skylines a lot, especially the BNR33's). All I have found is "possible power/engine" specs and pics. I heard it was going to be a 400hp 3.5L or something like that (supposedly revolutionary since Jap cars are signed to an agreement to only have 280HP tops). I found some pics but they are fugly...I don't ever wanna see a skyline look like what I saw, or my love for Skylines will stop at R34.

Anyway, has anyone found some good concept pics of the new R35? I would post links to the pics I found but it was a few days ago and the history is erased.

It doesn't exist yet. This is what you found from early 2001 ...

It looks so much like the G35/Skyline coupe that I don't believe it's near the final version of the new Nissan GTR. Then again, the fascia has GTR written all over it and is very different from the G35 coupe ... they just need to change the headlights.

the rear is fine but that front is just fugly...if it was a woman it would be a brown bag special

it's quite cool, once you get used to it, weird front tough, i hope the grille will look more like the r34's, it's beautiful from the side tough.
but, if it get's 400hp, will it be sold in Japan? btw: aftermarket-tuned cars are allowed to have over 280, right?

The 11th generation of Skyline is already here in America!

It's just in the form of an Infinity G35. :sad2:

I expected more from a legendary nameplate. :uhoh:

That's not what he is talking about. For the current generation you pictured, Nissan has split the labels ... there is a Nissan Skyline label and an entirely separate Nissan GTR label. The GTR is now an entirely separate high-performance car which is not out yet. That's what he is asking about. The Skyline nameplate has returned to being a family car, like the lower trim levels were.

Yeah,

Those early pictures in 2001 kind of remind of the 350Z & RX-8 (mutated together with a little bit of the new 50th Corvette edition features).

P.S. Future cars are so interesting to look; I wonder what they'll come up with next.
