Hello again,
I've been searching for this item for a bit today but I've had no luck. I saw some sort of shift indicator in the thirty minute movie, "The Last Race". If anyone has seen it they might remember the gauge that both racers had in their cars that lit a green light when they have to shift and lit a red light when they were "over-revving". Does this item exist? If so, what's it called and where could I find one? Thanks in advance...
It's just a tachometer with a shift light ... pretty standard lame stuff.

Its a shift light, its on most aftermarket tacks. Never seen an "overrev" light though.

i have... need for speed underground lol
Well good on you?
And yes there is such thing as an over-rev light, the only thing is if you're with someone who can drive their car properly you more than likely will never see it go off. Usually you find them on 3 stage shift-lights, and they can cost quite a bit.

Thanks _|_ (0_o) _|_ (lol, need an abbreviation or something), I found one now that I know what to look for. Apex'i makes one for about $36 for use with it's tachometer so I'll see if GReddy has one. Thanks once again.

Just kidding Ikaika..BFF!!!
N/P dread (WH40K?) , I assumed you were talking about the shift light in the Mustang... The tachs with the over-rev light can be pricey, but are available.
And oops I thought it was someone else that changed it... haha funny shit Greg :eek5:
and for short it's (0_o) or ikaika.

Hehehe, okay 0_o, I'll remember that next time. I don't think I'd pay for an over-rev light. I've never driven a manual and I think the shift light would help out a lot in the beginning and would just be a reminder later on.

Well the shift light wont help you on the street, since you have to tell the shift light when you want to shift. You dont always shift at one rpm unless you are racing.
