Supra???

:holla: I am getting a 1987 supra for $950. Nothing much is wrong with it except that its going to need a new master cylinder(clutch) do you think this is a good buy and where do I take it from there? Well aparently you WANT a supra particulary because if all you wanted was a good street car that is fast on the strip you would have gone with a 5.0 or such.

None the less, check with the local toyota shops and ask them how much that repair costs and how much the parts cost. Also get the thing inspected by a mechanic and run a carfax on it.

Keep in mind if its not a turbo supra you're destined to be very, very slow.

MK3's are heavy cars. Even if it's the turbo model, it's gonna be pretty slow in stock form. And as for wanting to make it "street legal", you'd better make sure it's street legal BEFORE you buy it.

And just remember, you get what you pay for. You're buying a $900 car. That means that it's going to look and run like a $900 car. Be prepared to shell out some major money for repairs.
