What are the performance data of the Volvo 850R, b/c I just...

Heres what happened

We lined up to a stoplight, green and we both gun it, we stayed parallel to each other on the 1st 3 shifts, after that he jumps ahead by 4 car lenghts. I got too excited and pushed it to redline (way over my power bandth). When he was 3 car lenghts ahead of me, he cuts onto my lane! I cut to his and went up to 160km/h, now he's only 1/2 car length ahead. my turn was coming up so I braked and turned to my street.

If I had went all the way and keep myself claim (not push over the powe bandth), maybe I could've had a chance. Also my oil pressure was very low today...
but props to the Volvo

What's the stats on the 940T? My mom has one and I take it out here and there when i want a nice plush ride. It's pretty quick when the turbo kicks in and I have raced a few cars here and there and surprisingly won.

I would have won if we were doing 1/4 only, b/c I'm pretty sure that I have more torque but he has more overall acceleration speed. If I see him again, race, and lose, I will get a job and buy a Supra or STi WRX.

The 850 has pretty good top end. My friend's stock 850 Turbo 222hp model can hit 150mph (dashboard speed) pretty easily. This is quite surprising consider its boxy style body (poor aerodynamics) and fewer HP (222hp only).
