The reason I call it a Z28/SS is because it was a custom built SS from GM for one of their employees (I got it used). All SS Camaros are really just Z28s with an option code. You can check out more about it at my site: hometown.aol.com/leetsg/myhomepage/leetsg.htm

but yeah leets is right about the ss being an option..an EXPENSIVE option at that..i would just get a Z28. =)

Oh, and the SS is an expensive option. In fact, my buddy who gave me the car was talking to me one day about how most of the people at Chevy think the Camaro SS is a waste of money. Most of the SS options are stuff you could just get better of from the aftermarket. I guess that's why he skipped ordering an SS from SLP and just had one custom built.

I remember the last time we went to Compton. We ended up just cruising over in my friends Explorer to watch the races. Would've gone in my car, but you can't fit five people in a Camaro (especially since it doesn't have a rear seat). I remember this other guy I know talking about how it's always on Tue. nights in Covina or Culver, or something like that. Damn memory... I shouldn't have drank so much.

Sure, I'd love to drive up to see those races... if I could. Next time I'm on my way up North I'll let you guys know so you can show me.
I still can't believe no one knows of any other races down here. Even when I went to Compton last time it was dead. You'd think with all the racers we have down here there'd be more going on. Oh well. Thanks for all the replys.
