So here's what i'm tryin to do. i want to connect my laptop to my tv. My tv has a dvi input and i want to use that. I've seen dvi-vga adapters but the one that i found didn't work. I guess the dvi input on my tv is called dvi-hd....or something like that. come to find out there are a bunch of different dvi connections. So i need help for that specific adapter to connect to vga. i found dvi-i to vga, and dvi-d to vga. i really want to use my hdtv as a monitor. I know i can easly just get a video card for my desktop but that will come later. I'm building a pc for my tv...but for the time being i wanna work with what i have.
