Please Help...

i have a crx with 1.6 single overhead with turbo and my car smokes really bad... i thought it might be that the turbo is getting too much oil... i put a compression valve on the oil hose and restricted the flow and it did absolutely nothing... i put this motor in the car a week ago... the car had the same set up before and smoked just as bad... if anyone has any idea of what it might be, please let me know... im open to any suggestions... thanks...

Does it smoke when it starts, when you roll, or when you start to boost. I am assuming that it smokes from the tail pipe. Also, what color smoke is it?

thanks for the post but i decided to just put a new motor in... had fun blowing the other one though!!
