What is the deal with the post count? Back in the day I had over 500 posts what gives? :joshers:

dont start your bitchin or we will make it zero and it will stay zero regardless of how much you post. the old threads get purged and when your post count is updated if you have less posts as a result of the purge then your post counter will be updated to show this.
cliff notes= you posted 2 years ago. those threads are gone and so are your posts so the board adjusts your post count for you.
i hate people that cry about post counts. wish ryan would keep them hidden.

drop the chip or i show you the door. simple. im not great or holy or any of that its just there is far too many people that post a single line for the sole purpose of making their post count go up. nopt cool to flip me off, i answered your post, i could have locked it and told you to read the rules or go search for your answer its been posted plenty of times.
no i really dont want to come across as oh great one its surely not like that i will help you if i can and if you seem like you will listen to my advice. you dont have to take it just listen thats all i ask. my word is not the end all. in this case on post counts its pretty much accepted by the staff here thats this is the way it is however. i can say i speak for more than just myself here. i dont like to waste my time replying to a brick wall..or as Norwood once put it " i tried to explain...till i relaized i was talking to myself."
not that it applies here but to others with low post counts--> if you want respect post count is not the way to do it. get out there and learn, help people out, etc. then you will gain respect on the forums. thats the bottom line here. people dont worry about your post count. if you have a question about it PM one of us and we will answer your questions. for the most part it is what it is. if it gets out of hand we will make a sticky about it somewhere.

ok nuff said but really it has been a very sore spot in the past. thats why the animosity and lecture. it hink its in a sticky somewhere in here. have you read them lately?
