Alright...So I was on Arapahoe road in Englewood, CO heading east arount peoria..I pulled up to a light behind two civics both with exhaust, intake, etc..one was red (ex for sure) and one was darker colored (maybe black si). I wasn't really thinking any thing of it but when the light went green they both dumped clutches and took off racing eachother. I eased off my clutch behind the red one and then floored it..got in the right lane..shifted 2nd as I was passing both of them...shifted third...let off...I shifted no higher the 6000 rpm and easy shifts..I was easily 10 car length from the faster darker one in 3rd..I had a 180lb passenger and my car is running like crap with my CEL on...Oh well...It get's fixed monday..Later! Lemme know if it was you!

DO you actually expect us to believe your story? Its a joke. A car that runs 15.6 couldnt pull 10 car lengths and 3 cylnder geo metro if the metro took off first and you shifted at 6000rpm and easy shifts.
GOT TO CALL BS ON THIS STORY
13.6 ? you wanna run my "civic" ???????

The cougar is a 12 second all street car at sea level...I drive it 40 miles each way to the track...
Jay..I'll run your civic...if you lived in colorado
LT - All SVT's are 5 speed...
As for the stereo in the SVT...I have only had in for a few weeks...Haven't had it tested yet....Excellent sound quality...10's are real fast and punchy....but whn you run 3 they become pretty deep...I would guess it would be in the 144-148 db range....not bad for low watts

It's quicker than that. With a good driver you can hit 14.9's with it. 15.1-15.2 seems to be the norm. I've seen a few of them run at my track

That 15.6 is fords spec in 99 from the sales brochure....I am in Denver - a mile high....my car will never see 14's in current form. Other members of http://www.contour.org in the east coast are running as fast as 14.7's with stock SVT's.
