Personally I wouldn't spend money on a short shifter, unless I was rich, which I'm not. There's just a lot of other things you can spend your money on to improve your car for that much money, ie motor mounts, sway bars, etc.

for the 50-120 buck it is worth it. it is not to hard to install

i ordered a pacesetter one. height adjustable and throw adjustable. it was about $60. im still waiting for it in the mail. the install should be pretty easy. if you go to superhonda.org, someone could probably post step by step instructions.

i think the worth of the short shifter depends on if you really need to have the throw shortened by like half an inch or whatevers if you really want that then i guess it would be worth it and it's not that hard to install just loose a couple of screws from under the car

Yeah, I think it's worht it. On my '97 Civic, the throws were horrendously long. I installed a DC Sports short shifter, and the throws really shortened down to, literally, a flick-of-the-wrist type of thing. I love mine, and I'm glad I invested money into it.

I have a DC Sports Shifter....and i paid around 60-80 bucks...it reduces throw by 40-60% depending on what brand. Its well worth the money, and you can install yourself in about 1-2 hours....

Damn, i just tried to install my short shifter today, I heard a crack and freaked. I thought it was my jackstands giving way. I'm not gonna try this again till the weekend, when i buy a better jack.
