Well i wanna relocated my msd in the inside of my car. I was debating over 2 Choices. 1st, maybe put it on my passenger side and tuck it somewhere next to the ECU. or 2nd, jus move it to the trunk. The reason why my 2nd choice i want to put it into the trunk is because i got passenger who bitch alot about small leg room. So whats a good place?

What MSD box are you running? Also what other electronics are you going to be installing. You have to remember, unless you have a super low impeadance wire, you are going to loose signal strength the longer the wires. The most I would strech the wires is to the inside of the cabin. My thoughts on the passenger complaining about leg room, oh well, ride in back! Under the rear seat isn't a bad idea, but make sure you have atleast 1" of clearance between the box, and the bottom of the seat. This will allow for air to flow across the box and aid in any cooling. If you want it in the passanger compartment, how about next to the trans tunnel, out of the way of the passenger's feet. The problem with this is the fact that you will have your box visable, and maybe stolen? There's alot to consider, why do you not want it under the hood?

Im running a MSD6AL and the reason why i want to put it inside my car is that, i was told since my car is a 98 Civic Lx and its a OBD2. That not legal for my car. So I jus want to put it inside my car, so in case i get busted (cough cough fremont)they won't see it..anywho..anymore ideas...?

can you mount it right behind your console where your radio is? I have seen some mounted in the glove box also. but thats not very ventalated.

you could mount it inside the glovebox, behind the radio, etc etc where its not ventilated, and get a push/pull fan setup like the car audio guys use for thier amps..
