First Real Stoplight Race

Oh man it was a great night.
Well we(my 2 freinds and I) leave Stratum(lasertag) and where driving to go to a wendy's. While we on the way we see a Camaro and a Mustang race, which the Camaro won(yea baby). So I feel like racing. Were going down the street and I pass up this guy in a I say Civic and my freind said Sentra. Well we get to a red light and he gets passed me(like went into the cross walk) and then kinda rolls back(manual). Both him and I knew it was on, So the light turns green and I beat him on the launch and were going hard, then auto shift, shifts at 5600 rpms and im still going. Well as I let off the gas cuz I was going 65 and speed limit is 45(dont wanna a ticket a ,month after i got my lisence). Then the fool does a fly by and switches into my lane and turns at the next light(which I wanted to race again.) But I beat him. Oh yea did I mention I was in a Quest MiniVan. Man what a beast.lol Well thats my first real race. It was cool, and dont reply if ur going ot talk shit. thanks

Last night i did almost the same thing, i came up on this minivan at a light and lined up with it just for fun then the light turned green and i smoked it off the line. At about 60mph though it wasn't fading in my rearview mirror so the guy was actually trying to win! I just laughed and floored it to the next light where he turned off. I wanted to talk to him to see if he wanted to go again :) Dont under estimate the momduke's corolla power.

Was it a race to 65??? Cause if it was, then you won. But if it wasn't, then how can you claim you won? I just want to say that if you are gonna race, go all the way please. It's like racing on the freeway, but not wanting to go over 100mph. Thanks.

Toyota has got to be the stupidest company in the world. Check this out. My V6 3.4L pushes my 4Runner to 183 hp. The 3.0L V6 that they give the Toyota Sienna Minivan pushes 200hp!!! WTF is that? Well I raced this girl and a couple of her friends in that exact minivan. In all three lights that we caught, I got whooped on!!!

Watch the Fuck Out for them minivans everyone. This aint no joke either, those things are underestimated or some shit!

Yea I won I beat him off the line and he wasn't catching up. And I had seen like 3 cops in like 10 mins of driving. So I'm not going to take my chances of keeping on going( just got my liscence a month ago and in Az they got a law where if u have a class G liscence and i get a ticket its double the penlity. and cuz I'm not 18 i got a class G) and having to break hard at the next light(it was coming up soon). Also he wasn't going to catch up. I knew I won so I just let off the back. Also I have gone 100 in the minivan on the freeway, it was great but that was during spring break.

I think I was racing smart, it was over no need to keep on going faster and having chances of an accident of hurting other people or my freinds in the car( I would rather them live then me if im driving and I cause an accident) No flame man

Besides that thanks for all the support guys. Watch out for the minivan there actually pretty fast(no top fule car but still)

Well should he have asked first b4 they raced if it was a race to 65? Or kept going until he was maxed out to see if the other car catches up? I say if you are doing some impromptu race and you are well ahead at some point you can shut it down and call it a victory, its different if its a race at one of the regular spots and then you can talk to the guy first and have a real finish line.

peg leg burnouts are cool until that one tire is bald and then you have to switch it to the front casue it causes the ligth as hell rear end to step out on you. but a few months ago, there was an article on SRO about an 11 sec? turbo charged minivan. it was bad ass. the ultimite sleeper, and about cutting a race short, i won't metion the team or car that won, but it was import vs doestic, all hyped up, a Z28 vs a integ., integ got the z off the line, the z just spun the ties caught some traction, and the integ had a 2 car lead, the z didn't even hit second gear, before the integ was flashin his hazards, how can a car win when he turns around behind the Z, the z would have beat the car, cause he got traction, and was pulling like crazy. the integ was fast, but personally i do think the z would have caught and passed the integ.
