Amps are easy, assuming you have an aftermarket CD player, more than likely it will have "Pre amp Outputs."

So you get your set of RCA Cables and match the colors from the RCA's with that of the Pre Amp Outputs. then you can either do a 1/2 assed wiring job and let all the wires hang out or you can run them under the carpet and then connect them to the RCA Hook ups on your Amp.

Then you take your signal wire (little wire about 18 ga. I belive?) and it's easiest to connect that to your CD Player Power wire, that way the amp will be on when the CD Player is on.

Then you take your power wire, run that to the the front of your vehicle, slide it through a hole in your firewall and connect it to the "fuse box" that will come with your amp wiring install kit. The other end of the wire goes to the amp.

Then your ground wire will be a "Search and Destroy" mission. Find a bolt going into metal as close as you can to the amp. If it has paint on the metal, sand off the paint and bolt down the Ground wire, then of course hook the other end to your amp ground.

Now you take some speaker wire and run it from the amp channels to your subwoofer box and hook up the + and - and you're done!

Its called a Remote wire and it will be blue. Nothing should be connected to it either.

If it isn't connected to a power source your amp will be useless. Also if it is connected to nothing, whats the point of even having it?

he means nothing should be connected to it UNTIL you hook up the remote wire...it's the blu wire cominhg out of the HU that doesn't have anything cinnected to it and SHOULD be taped off....
