Apexi or Greddy? or what? I dont really need that Apexi AVC-R, i want something that's not so show-off looking. How about those Profec's that Greddy makes. That Profec looks good and has purpose. I would get the Profec B but i dont know what it's max boost setting. I don't wanna get something like what HKS makes (the cheapest product they make only goes up to 1.1kg on the boost gauge. Anyone have the profecs... i realize that most of you guys are Hondas and would install NOS before you'd think of a turbo... but i'm trying my luck.
i found this Greddy info on this link:http://members.tripod.com/~Caleb_GTiR/controll.htm
Oh, i have a 180SX

if you want a electronic boost controller, and not a fancy one, go with the APEXi one w/ the knobs, the the avc-r.. or you could save an assload of money and get/make a manual boost controller

I run an AVC-D on my skyline, its basically an electronic manual yuning boost controller for drag use. It doesn't use a boost sensor and does not have fuzzy logic (to get confused) but has settings for 3000, 5000 and 7000 RPM levels. It has the solenoid under the hood and holds boost really well. It also has a scramble boost function and a speed function that allows you to get off the line before the boost goes crazy. I paid $175 for it off of E-bay and am happy with it. The AVC-R is too complicated for what I use it for, and a manual bleed knob requires too much maintenance. If my solenoid goes bad, I return to stock boost, if a manual knob or bleeder goes bad, it could get ugly.
