im goin to court this thursday.....help help?

yeah im goin to court this thursday...the ticket was for a cracked windsheild and red crusin lights. i went to court for it already and this thursday is tha rescheduled court date...the cop had said the reason i got the windshield ticket was because it was in my field of view(something like that)but my visors go lower than the crack so if i drive with my visors down will i get a ticket. kinda dumb i think..but can anyone give me any little of lots of advice on what to do or say at court?

Be polite and honest and tell the Judge what you just said. Also try and have a few pics of it. The red lights you are stuck on but if you're lucky you may get off on this. Was it just a fixit ticket though? If so fix the darn thing already and just get it signed off.

Good advice, Tim.

If the damage to the windshield is small enough and it is not in the area considered in the driver's field of view, then you can get it patched. The chip will stay there, but it won't spread into a crack. My insurance company will do those patches for free. Maybe check to see if yours will too.
