ram madness!?

Long story short, I was having all sorts of weird problems w/ windows, it'd restart, close programs...etc. I ran about 2 fresh installs...but nothing worked. Then on my 3rd something hit me. I realized that when I looked @ a few of the error reports It'd say something like couldn't write blah blah blah...to blah location.

I figured "why then hell not"...and took out my ram, dusted it off, then threw it back in. Since then I've had 1 error....has anyone had any similar experiences?

It just seems so damn strange to me :uhhh:

Ram dies slowly, it doesn't just go out with a bang.
I've seen it plenty of times.
If you're starting to get memory writing errors, it'd be a good time to replace it.
