The juvenile court has a range of punishments they can give out. There is no way to guess what you'll recieve.

I'm a minor too, I got speed contest too. My car was towed,
parents had to pick me up. went to court, I have 2 previous
speeding tickets, driving without required lights, ect...
and the speed contest. Max punishment is $675 fine (in
juvenile court the maximum fine that can be give to you
is $675... period.) fine for an adult is $2025. Maximum
suspension (unless it involved alcohol, drugs, or graffiti-
vandalism) is 6 months. Mine, with an already horrible
record, was a $350 fine and a 30 day suspension of lisence.
This was the COURTS penalty, at the end of 30 days the DMV
has the right to do what they want also (more than likely
nothing unless it's your first year of having your lisence,
in which it would probubly be 6 more months suspension.

Speed Contest is a misdemeanor, and a 2-point violation
for your record.

Look them up 23109(a)CVC versus 23109(c) CVC. Exhibition of speed would be doing a burn out. Racing is, well, it's racing. Read the sections if you have a chance.
