~Down Hesperian 4 - 94 GSR Vs New Si~
on a low-key weekday night, my fellow Erecktion teammate IM's me and wants to run. Being da nut that I am, I say hell ya... he rolls to my house as I warm up my car.
He just got his 94 GSR, so he's still trying to get familiar with it. First race we line up to a neighborhood stoplight. Itching for the light to turn green... 1-2-3 it's green and were off. I get him at the launch. Shift to second, I'm gaining..but by the end of second im gaining no more. Shift to 3rd, it's all even, shift to 4th he catches up to my door and pulls up even with me and passing me up a tad... Up ahead a stoplight stops the action, we hit the brakes and we let our engines rest at idle... Were at another light..1-2-3 its on again... same thing but this time I take him at the end. Another stoplight, same story. After that race we see a po.. so we cut out immediately.
We pull over in the cuts and I find out that he was launching his car wrong. He was dropping the clutch at 1500rpm. I said c'mon now... I showed him to launch at a higher rpm and he will try that later on... if he gets that down he should be able to take me...
After all this we hung out at his house with "loverboyRR" and talked smack... then called it a night and went to sleep.
