Ok with all the threads calling BS and stuff, here are pics and videos of my car doing what I know it can and why I think it can do better the next trip to the track. I have recently changed the FDR from 3.32 up to 3.65 much deeper gears. FIxed the N2O jet location that was killing me and moved the bottle straight up and down so that the bottle is now 12" from the injection point into the TB. Having a mid engine cars is nice sometimes.

Twin Nitrous Fiero's. me with an almost empty bottle and a bad setup. It is all fixed now and will run it again at the track and the 8th with hopes of dropping at least one full second off of the time.

Quick pick of the system, the bottle now sits straight up and down so that the Bottle will get much better juice near the bottom.

As long as you don't think your car is godlike (fiestaR) then you'll have nothing to worry aboot :)

No one was directly calling BS on my, but I am so sick and tired of hearing people that have NO CLUE about how fast there car is and claim it to be XX.XX in the quarter and then in reality it is 2 full seconds slower. I am on 4 diffrent Car Related M/B
s One for local street racing, one for Fiero's specific and one for import tuning / street racing as well as this one. I see it day in and day out, people that have stock Honda's or Mustangins with a cold air intake saying Ya my car runs so much faster, I bet can go XX faster at the track. I mean jesh. Take your car to the track let the timslip slap you in teh face a few times then make up some excuses like most do about how this was wrong with your car or the track was too slick, or you just could not hook up ........................ then go out and fix the problem and come back for more. If some dude drives a slow car and asks me for help then I am right there trying to give him help. But when I get young punk kid that thinks he is a pit lane primo mechanic becuase he found out how to install a Cold Air intake and now his car is a full on Race Car. He can go &uck himself.

I am going to finish this off with. My car is not fast, but I want it to be. Is it the fastest car, not a chance, is it faster than a few riced out cars on the street, I sure hope so.

I wish I could have slowed it down, but the camera guy messed up when taping then encoding it. The car pulls 1.9-2.1 60ft times on plain jane 245/50/16 street tires. I wish my car came out of the hole as fast as it looked on that vid. HeHe.

Thanks for the kind coments on my ride. It is a work in progress.

Do note that its in KMH and not MPH. Im guessing its around 100+mph.

Using trans ratio and rpm to figure things out with the nitrous I have gotten the car to roughly 235kph about 146mph.

The car will do 125mph on flat pavment without the nitrous, it just takes a bit, but when the bottle comes on with the .42 jet all hell breaks loose. HeHe. If you note the vents in the middle of the front of the hood. They are there to allow extra air to escape out from under the front of the car at high speeds. It is amazing the diffrence they make on Fiero's. My radiator is in the front of the car so it also helps with flow through cooling.

Out of pure curiousity, why only 3.65:1?

That's pretty damn low for a drag car...

I don't think anyone makes a/m gears for the fiero, the best you can do is swap the transmission for one with better gearing. The lowest you get with the muncie is 4:10 also.

These were my options in stick shift. My car only weights 2700 lbs, 2900 with me in it. Lower than 3.65 would be almost usless when I hit the bottle.

nice... whats your 0-60 time? just curious because im not far off your off-the-bottle top speed. that and i havent run a proper 1/4 mile yet. pain in the damn ass trying to find a strip over here.

matt wtf you on and where can i get some? maybe it would be semi-godlike with a 2.0 cosworth yb, hybrid t3/4, high boost, big injectors, nitrous, ripped out interior, etc...

From 15.4 down to 14.6 and I know I could have went faster, but the damn rain started to come down. Crap. My next goal is to get down to a 13.9 and then I will be totally happy with my little V6 Fiero.

Well here is the video it is in WMV format. Again thanks to watts for encoding it for me. Oh and a big thanks to FieroChick for taping me at the track.

Ok the stuff in this movie. Me racing in the first clip,
2nd clip is a minivan pulling 15.49,
3rd clip is Ryan almost blowing his motor with a huge nitrous backfire in his fiero. I will have a high res video of that later.
4th is Jim T. pulling off 15's in his mostly stock yellow 86SE.
