I race at every chance I get...drivin is the shit... so when I saw my buddies line up for a race I thought sweet I'm gonna get in on this too. It was 99 accord (not V6) and a 00 civic dx and me in my 86 civic behind the accord. We have a long stretch of open road that has some nice twists in it and is ideal for racing. The light turns green and were off! the automatic accord gets a jump on the 00 civic (kid is the worst driver ever) and I am right on his ass...I push my car to the limit nailing every shift... as we approach the first corner doing 120 km/h I'm trailing the accord by 2 lengths and the civic has caught back up and is on the outside of me with his front tire at my rear tire...I downshift to 3rd and catch up to the accord in corner braking. The DX loses more room on us because he doesn't know how to fuckin brake before the corner and accelerate out....anyways...after hard braking and punding on the gas in the corner I am neck and neck with th accord. There is another straight followed by a big sweeping left and then a hard right onto another street...in the big sweeping left we get up to about 150 km/h and the accord begins to brake just as we get out of the corner to prepar for the 90 degree right. I swing out to the far left and cut hard into the corner downshifting like a mother biatch...as the accord drifted left while coming out of the turn I dive inside becaus of better braking/ line (call it what u want I call it better drivin) and jump ahead of him by a whole car. All that's ahead of us is a long downhill straight with side streets branching off of it. I bust through my gears giving myself a 2 car lead...and what do u know i look in my rear view and see a cop turn on it's lights and pull out of a side street! I boot it hoping I won't get caught. The cop is a ways back when I see another set of headlights come up behind the cop.... it was my buddy harsh trailin in his 00 civic....luckily for me and my buddy in his accord the cop takes the easy kill and pulls are friend in the 00 civic over.....sucked to be my buddy in the civic ( he got 386$ fine for excessive speeding) ...that was one of my first races and prob one of my most impressive kills....just shows that better drivin can beat better cars....
