Im going to be getting all the parts myself and i just need to find someone to do it, it's a bit 2 advance for myself.
It's going on a 2000 Honda Civic DX. It's still a D Series, anyone know any shops that will do a good job and be cheaper then the ones I listed. The car is my daily driver and i can't have it out for 3 days stright.

Dont you have a 6gen civic? Ive been reading its pretty simple. You just have to remove/reweld the right tryanny mount bracket into the correct spot of a manula or buy an auto-to-manual mount from placeracing, and then everything else is pretty much bolt on like a regular swap. The hardest part of the swap that ive read is the wiring.

well besides that, My friend got his done at Blacktrax, they did a good job. Blacktrax also removed/replaced my right tryanny mount bracket for me to fit my engine into my car since my car used to be an automatic also. So i give thumbs up to Blacktrax.

Hey thats not bad for the prices. I was expecting higher prices towards the 1000 dollar range. Just curious though, how mcuh were the parts? I'm currently thinking about doing a auto---> manual swap too. Just wanna get an estimate on how much the parts were. And the prices you listed, was just for install right?

The thing is, im waiting on some parts in the mail, but im going to have everything for the swap, i really wish i had the skill to do it myself, i did the turbo install myself, but thats a cake walk, i don't know much about manuals, but just need someone to do the work for me.

Im looking to spend under 400

like i said above, you can just get a auto-to-manual engine mount, and then everything else to get the swap in is just like a regular motor swap. The hardest thing would be just the wiring, i.e. motor start wit out being in park, etc...

everything is pretty much bolt on since everything for the manual is pretty much there on the auto chassis, since the auto and manual chassis is pretty much the same cept the right tranny mount bracket is at a different location, but you can just relocate it or just get the auto-to-manual mount from placeracing. The hardest part youll probably have is just the wiring, other then that, everything is pretty much there for you. Theres already holes there for you on the chassis for the brake/clutch/gas pedal assembly.

yeah....frisco-junglist is right! Never take your car to redstar racing...ive had the worst experience over there. I had a tranny swap too, tito took forever and gave me a fucked up tranny. He says that he will do a better than any other shop around, and calls other shops unexperienced. But thats all bullshit. NeVer go there.

hahaha 4 months? WTF.. I get my stuff done all the time at RedStar cuzzin
In and out in hrs.. Days for engine/trans-axle stuff.. Aint no month(s) LOL

He only has a few cars in the shop for more than a month, and those are all close customer projects... No car gets to stay in long that isn't meant for somethin real, nanatameen? Real shit comes from his garage, not no fob shit. U ever catch em (RedStar) at the track (AutoX, drag, etc., whatever)? That is some proven shit. Name RedStar's and Tito's milestones.

As for DNR, I have heard of them...

sorry bro, but for the work your asking its gonna be tough to find a shop to do it for less then 500, and you want it done like yesterday on top of that. 600 is the average going rate for a honda conversion.
