so im looking to buy a trans am. i found a '78 but the nose is a little damaged i dont like the front facia. so i was wondering if its possible to replace a '77-'78 style front nose of a trans am and replace it with a '79-'81 style front nose. anybody know?

Any front end from '70 through '81 will fit although there may be some differences in the bracketry and frame horn extensions. Make sure you have all the parts extending all the way to the radiator core support including the 5mph bumper energy absorbers.

The hood and fender front edges will line up okay.

No, they suck; get a Civic.
Nobody wants some little punk in an F-body, unless it's a 305 thirdgen.

sorry but i think a little punk in a civic is worse. plus everyone has a civic, im sick of seeing those stupid things. i'd rather see a trans am than a civic.
