Ge0-that doesn't really warrant an "LOL." the cop that pulled those kids over deserve some kind of serious public recognition. I'm really glad that it was stopped before anything happened and people were harmed.

damn kids these days
You know what it is? The lack of old-school "shut the fuck up, before you get smacked the fuck up" parenting. I came out half decent, and thats because when I stepped outta line, my parents regulated. Some times physically, but hey it worked. I'm not that fucked up.
But then again, maybe they just wanted to be hugged?
Mother fuckers.

I blame the government being far too strict about "child abuse". You shouldn't be thrown in jail for spanking your child when he/she screws up. Yes, there is a line you shouldn't cross when disciplining your child, but to say any contact is illegal basically gives the kids the thought that they can do whatever they want and there's nothing that their parents can do about it.

very tru dat scott. i remember when my dad hit me for fuckin up on big stuff not little stuff. i knew from then it was for my own good and to this day i thank him for that, cause by now i would have been stealing, join a gang, or god knows what if my dad hadn't have discipline me. Kids theses days are getting spoilled more everyday and doing stupid'er shit everyday as well. Give the parents its rights back for their sons/or daughter to feel the back of their hand!

I dont think the laws against physically punishing your children are as big a problem as everybody makes it out to be. MOST of the time a parent that believes in whoop'n ass isnt gonna be held back by the fear of some law, especially in their own household. And MOST of the time a kid isnt gonna go through with trying to get their parents locked up for it. Sure there are a few smart ass kids that will get their parents in trouble, but not many.

But kids are getting smarter and smarter, and the teachers in the school have to tell kids that any form of physical discipline is wrong and illegal. Which is dumb.
The problem with the government is, that its way too fucking compromising.

Don't compare a bunch of "troubled" little children trying to hurt people to the two killers of Columbine.
It's the entire generation of "i tOlD u!! civcics ownz@!" that makes the rest of the semi-intelligent peons look bad.
Learn how to express your opinions without looking like an 8-year-old Turkish boy just learning English; and then maybe someone out there will take you kids seriously.

I say we make an example. Kill them sons of bitches. Publicly. Seeing a 15 year olds head rolling across the pavement on the steps of the capitol of that state on national TV should send a fucking message to all of the little psychotic pussies that cant handle life and have to go around killing everyone that calls them a little shit because they are.

When I was growing up, I got my ass beat for steping out of line.
My mom had a 1/4" by 2 1/2" paddle I would get hit with, until the paddle finally broke on me.
Yes, I turned out all right.
However, now that we have stopped dragging our knuckles as a society, people have learned that if you discipline your kids correctley, they don't need to be hit.
Perfect example, my brother physically disciplines his children, and all of them take their punishment, and go back to doing what they got in trouble for later.
On the other hand, my sister took a bunch of early childhood education classes for work, where she did small studies on kids from homes that had different methods of disciplining thier kids.
Hands down, the kids that were properly disciplined, without force, behaved better and interacted better with people.
Her daughter has never been struck, and she is one of the most well behaved children I know, and she excels in everthing she does.
One of my best friends was never struck, he graduated high school as a valedictorian at 16, and Stanford at the age of 20.
Say what you will, but from what I've seen, and what the pesky government and those damn medical profesionals say, hitting your kid doesn't do much good.
All you have to do is pay attention to them, and general they'll turn out all right

My mom used to get beat by her dad as a child. That's why she raised her kids with compassion, but they (my parents) never hesitated to drop the hammer on me or my bro when we were outta line, and we learned (at least, I learned.)
Hell, my mom's friends' nine year old called the cops one time because she was gonna get a spanking. The reason she is like that is because her dad tells her that she's the boss, and that she can do whatever she wanted. I fucking cant stand people who do that to their kids.

I agree, however, most people who hit thier kids are doing it becasue they have not paid attention until the childs behavior is out of hand.
To use a car analogy, its like your car running out of oil. If you would have checked it and done regular maintnence, you would have noticed the slow leak and done someting about it. If you don't keep up on it, all of the sudden you have to take drastic and immediate action to solve the problem.
If you just pay attention and get to things before they get out of hand, you don't have to do anything drastic.
One thing to remember is that laws are in place because someone didn't use the best judgement in the world.
Everyone used to say, its ok to hit your kids, no big deal. Then, people realized that some people were getting the fuck beat out of them, and people were letting it slide becasue they thought "well, they're just punishing thier kids". When you have situations like this, the government can't just step in and say they need a black eye in order to check for child abuse.
Just as a piece of background, my little brothers (toddlers at the time) and mom got the shit beat out of them, basicaly in front of me, by thier Dad (my step dad), and nobody did a thing. He never served one day in jail, nothing. The church that he belonged to (and we joined by default) stood behind thier life long member and sang his praises, even though I had never seen these people before in my life.
Nobody was talking about this shit when I was that age, so while people may say everyone is over sensitive about this, just remember that where two toddlers and a 4'11" 100lb. woman getting beat down by a grown man.
Sorry about the soap box rant, but I did just realize that all this sensitivity about child abuse really started after we had gone through this. And now I'm actualy thinking what I could have prevented had I told someone. I mean I keep in the back of my mind that if I had been an adult I could have ended that guy with my bare hands since I grew up into a much bigger man than he did, but at that age, the only thing they were pushing was sexual abuse, not the importance of physical abuse.
Well, sorry about the threadjack now too
