00 Camaro SS vs. LOTS OF PORSCHES!

My freind and i were cruisin Highway 5 yesterday...and around the Sacramento area,we ran into a group of porsches.Im assuming that there was some sort of road racing event at Sac raceway?All of them were equipped with roll cages,and all the other standard racing goodies.We ended up racing about 2 996 Carrera's,2 944 turbos,and a 1997ish 993 twin turbo...god i love those!When i used to work at Porsche...we had a 1997 that i took up to 170+mph...thing handled awesome up that high too.

Well, in this case, I would say, I dont care who won, as long as u got to run so many cool cars. Im sure your SS held its own with them too.

sounds like a fun event.I was goin to go to the Porsche driving school that they have in Atlanta...but then i lost the opportunity when i lost the job at the dealer.My freinds SS stuck with em...cars were set up for road racing,not drag.Of course he didnt stand a chance against the TT though!

cool! i had a friend that went to the driving school at Road Atlanta. he had a ton of fun and said it was the absolute best!

did you see a yellow 911 turbo in that bunch on the road?

sorry...the Turbo we ran was that Burgundy lookin color.I have seen a yellow 993 Turbo racing a yellow Lambo Diablo on the freeway though!That was exciting!And i got to drive a yellow 996 Turbo,Boxster S,Carrera,etc. at the dealer when i worked there.
