68 camaro

hey im new here and thinking about what car to get(16thbday coming up soon). i saw a pic of a 68 camaro a coupla months ago and fell in love with it. wut do yall think about that car? easily upgradable, safe, etc.
any help would be appreciated

That car has a Small Block Chevy in it, and therefore is better than any import. You think I'm kidding?

The Small Block Chevy has the most aftermarket of any engine ever created, seeing as any small block chevy, ranging in size from 262 to 400 cubic inches share most of the same parts.

Easily upgradable? Yes, if you have mechanical skills. Safe? No, I doubt it even has shoulder belts, and it certainly doesnt have air bags. Also, they dont get good gas millage, and they arnt the cheapest things ever. It would NOT make a good first car, unless you have something else to drive daily.

Don't get a '68 Camaro if you're just turning 16.
I wouldn't want to see a nice car ruined by someone with no driving skills.
