Hi. I want to take the DOHC Vtec badge from the rear. What do I need to take it off? Will it scratch the paint? What about the "A" elblems? How hard are they to change?
Thanks

all u have to do is very gentety pull on the badge, first start it with a very thin flat head crew driver just enough so that u can pull of the bdge wiht your fingers. Than u are goinf to have glue left over drom the badge, first take a dry towel, and scrub the glue very hard. Than after removing as much material as u can, take some goo gone, and soak the glue with it, wait like 5 min than use your finger nails to scrape of the material (if u chew on your nails than your fuked) than after the glue gets dryed again scrub it down with the towel again, and repeat the process until u have the glue off. Than take some wax and wax the area with it, but the best thing to do is to take a polish wheel like the pro's use and polish the glue off

I hope that this helped! Good luck!

the screwdriver thing is okay but you risk scratching the paint. what you can do is cut out a square piece of plastic. when i did this with my first car, i cut out a square piece of plastic from a package for golf balls. it's pretty thin and very sturdy. put that in between the car and the badge and then put the screwdriver in between the two so instead of the screwdriver scratching the paint, it'll scratch the piece of plastic. actually, since there's glue holding the emblems on, just use the plastic thing to cut the glue. if it's sturdy enough like mine was it'll act like a knife and you won't need a screwdriver. as for cleaning, i just used 90% rubbing alcohol, put it on a soft cloth and scrubbed. glue came off and no harm was done to the paint.

Used your credit card or dirvers license to take it off and use goof off to take out the reamaining adhesive

Dental floss or fishing line works the best...It is also a good idea to use a hair dryer to melt the adhesive a little...after you get it off, get some of that 3M adhesive residue remover(Kragens has it) and scrub off the residue with a terry cloth towel....thats all ya gotta do

Peace:D
