This morning, I decided to go to my house in Hayward from my apt in Walnut Creek. I drive down 880 south, as the roads are clear, its 8am on a Sunday so noone in their right mind would be up this early. I am tempted to just drop the hammer and wake up my V8. Everything is clear, oh what the hell, lets go. Get up to about 125mph...feeling the rush oh its soo sweet!
I slow down a bit to about 80mph and Im cruising when a new model 4 Door M3 comes up. Its a young guy about 19-24 years old. I check out his ride for a bit. Its got an aftermarket kit on it, as well as some team stickers on the rear door windows. He wants to play. As he darts in front of me, I shift down and play catch up.
We come to a spot in there freeway where it becomes a 5 lane straightaway. Sweet. Im on the right, he is on the left. No holdin back. At about 100mph, I am already caught up to him. And I keep on pulling. As I fly past him, I put my hand up and wave a byebye to him as he smiles. He is still trying. I max out at about 147mph, as we both slow down and he waves to me. I throw up my peace sign. And go home.
