My first car

Well, just got my first car, was looking at a Trans Am, but the insurance may as well have been as much as the car itself. I got a 2001 Monte Carlo. It's an LS, Black. What kind of potential does it have/ What do you think I should do with it first.

That's the 3.4L V6.
There's not much potential in the engine of one of those.

Personally, I'd just drop it a few inches with some nice rims and call it a day until you got something better.

lol, I wanted a T/A too. But then I came to my senses. They're built like shit. $20,000 for an engine, and $5000 for a body.

hmmm.....would the SC from the grand grix fit on that any way?........i assume this still has a warranty of sorts, so you might not want to mess with it too much.....

If it has a 3.8 you could supercharge it, if you have any other engine you're pretty much screwed. There is little to no aftermarket for these cars.
