Something is wrong with my car. When i step on the brake pedal the pedal starts moving up and down (vibrating) however if i step on it hard it doesn't move anymore. This started happening after i got into an accident in which the front right side of my car hit the guard rail on the freeway ( resulting in a smashed fender and bent rim). First i thought that the rotor was warped so i had it machined the problem was still there, so i put in new rotors and brake pads but that didn't work, lastly i changed the whole right knuckle along with the hub and everything and the problem is still there. I tried driving with two different sets of rims and i had a alignment check but the problem is still there. Does anyone have any idea what could be wrong? I'm completely lost now. any help would be much appreciated thanks

What about the drive shaft/axle? If it is a front wheel drive.

I think you need a alighnment done, and balance your tires, it should be that, but if not it can be that your cambers got jaked up and need new ones. I suggest that due to I had a similar problem on my brothers car.

try this, coast your car at like 15mph in a straight
direction and dont slam the brakes but be aggressive on
em and let go of the wheel does the car pull to one side?
