i think the location is right under the GG bridge. been there once but forgot what it was called.

We went crabbing off the Pier at the end of Van ess(sp?) last thurs. Caught a good 8 crabs but there's a seal that keeps trying to eat our bait. I might bring my harpoon next time.

Sniper, its only illegal to catch the dungenous crabs, although no one's there to regulate.

its legal to catch dungenous if they are in season... those are all dungenous except for 4 red crabs we caught

Nope. it's illegal all together unless it's for commercial. it's posted at the van ness pier in frisco. No exceptions.

It's only legal if it's out side the Golden Gate, closest pier for us to catch all year long i believe is Pacifica. Anywhere inside the GG is Illegal

i go crabbing at fort point, right by the golden gate bridge. dungess is illegal if you catch it inside the bay. but out in the ocean, its legal.

my friend told me to go crabbing out in pacifica at the piers, but he said from the pier to the water is a good 30ft.

these were caught off the coast not in the bay we havent had a problem any time before as far as we know as long as they are in season all was well.... shit i cant google the laws anyone have a link id like to find out before we do it again lol

pacifica is cool, but hella cold we go there if we wanna try for salmon off the pier but usually end up with shark or striper

damnit i guess we can sorta get in trouble... you need a comercial license to catch them... and from what i have also read i guess you can catch them by the golden gate but the shell needs to be 7inches across or something like that oops...
