View Full Version : May17th: "Street Racing at the Strip" at Sac Raceway...anyone going???

Well last wednesday at the wednesday night drags over at infineon raceway in sonoma some guy handed me one of these flyers. I guess this is some sort of "beat the heat" deal with cops or you can just race against someone, I don't know because I've never been to one of these events before. Well the flyer details are as follows...

-gates open at 3pm - $5
-Racing 5-10pm - $25 extra (so thats $30 for people who can't add haha)
-$500 to each winner
-open to all cars,trucks,motorcycles
-side by side match racing,dial et,or race without

So is anyone going? I'll be there with the crew...well see ya there if you go. I'll be in my white crx that says 3DimensionZ of the front drivers side and passanger side windows...come say hi if you see me! :hi:

The car has to be street legal right? Does that mean no open exhaust and no bottle? I wanna go but not all the way to sac if I can't even run my car.

umm i'm not so sure about that...i know you can run a bottle if you have the tubing that runs outside your car from the bottle...ummm i forgot what its called. but yeah...about open exhaust..you might wanna call and ask. the number is 916-416-0546...and ask for tony.

yeah I have the blow down tube, but I'm just not sure if I'm gonna be able to use it since it said Street Legal

yea they should let you run your car...as long as you have the blow down tube. where is 831? bakersfield or something? i think its somewhere down south right? thats a long drive to come up to sac...but it should be fun that night...

831 (Salinas) is about 45min south of san jose
so it's about 2 1/2 - 3 hr drive to sac
