I don't see why not. There's already going to be cars other than tegs/RSXs. I spoke with another person from another forum and he's talking about bringing the CL/TL crew. All I know is that this meet is going to be HUGE! :D

Hey it's a free country. Feel free to park anywhere!! And no we're not going to throw bottles at you. This is a friendly environment for car enthusiasts to meet each other and talk about cars. Yes, it is an Integra, RSX meet. But I guarantee that there are going to be other cars there as well. Especially since it's going to be BIG! You have a month to convince your friends not to bail out on you and time to request June 8 off. This meet has been pretty well organized. We basically have all the details worked out. Now we just have to wait a month for it to happen. :D

When they had the Lexus meet (IS300s) it started to rain right when I got there :( try looking on IS300.net. I believe they might has posted pics there...

Please make note of this date. If you are working, please try to see if you can request this day off work. This date is set early so everyone will definately have time to make arrangements accordingly if they must.

FYI: Clicking on the date will take you to the calender to sign up for the event. Please do so, this we can get an idea of the head counts of who's going to be there.



TIME:

As usual, myself as well as others will try to be there as early as possible, but ecerything is expected to kick off at about NOON. Thats the time when everybody starts getting hungry and looking for food.

Please make note of the toll fee at the Bay Bridge. If I remember correctly, it was $2 per car. Please make note of this.

ACTIVITIES PLANNED:

BBQ
I'm guessing the usual Hot Dogs and Hamburgers. If anyone is willing to bring anything else, that would be fine also. This is going to be a large turnout for this meet, so we would like for everyone to be able to at least grub on something whether it be real food or junk food. See below for more information about the food at the event.

PICTURES
Okay technically, its not really an activity since its not really done at a specific time, but rather at random times of the meet throughout the day. But just wanted inform everyone so they can at least wash their car up or dress properly. I don't hope to see anyone ridiculously naked or something.

TRIVIA CONTEST
Hopefully with these trivia contest, we will be able to give out prizes. Once again, hopefully prizes that are being offered by our Sponsers (ie www.tornactive.com) or local shops that may want to attend and donate something to the event.

BEST OF SHOW
Again, hopefully we will be able to arange something by the time we have this event and figure out a way we want to give out the prizes. Probably from one of our sponsers.

RAFFLES
Similarly to the two events above, these are just randomly prizes that will be given out. You don't have to have the best teg there or the best knowledge, just be lucky! And you'll win something.

TI NORCAL DIVISION STICKERS
I belive cory is working this out. Please stay informed for more info. You can also ask cory at the meet about the stickers. Of course for a small fee.

RC CARS
A few fellow TI members have brought this up and are probably going to bring their RC cars to the meet and have fun with them. Anyone interested in the hobby, I'm sure these patriotic fellow TI members will be willing to answer any questions as well as let you try them out, I would think.


I'm sure there are probably going to be a few more other activities that can and will be planned by the time we have this meet. So keep checking in for updates. If you have any ideas, please feel free to PM me about it.



ON SITE EQUIPMENT

COMPRESSION TESTER
I will be bringing my compression tester as well as 96dc2 (according to my knowledge) so we can offer compression tests for anyone who wants to check their cars.

TIMING GUN
I belive 96dc2 also volunteered to bring his timing gun. We are offering this courtesy of TI.

SNAPON TESTER
I belive RobertMcDonald has offered to bring his father's device to help diagnose/test our cars. It has the ability to read/pull codes and clear them as well as other things I assume. We shall soon find out and see at the meet what this cool gadget can do!

DING KING
This device, according to my understanding fixes dents on cars. I'm not too sure. Hopefully InTeG97aL or integra_q will bring the device and help everyone who's not familiar with it see what it actually does.



RULES/REGULATIONS/POLICIES:

BRING FOOD
Yes Potluck again. There is just no way that we can supply enough food if 100+ people show up. If you are passing the word, make sure people know what they are getting themselves into if they show up. This isn't a free food show/meet, but rather a meet to get everyone with integra's to come together and talk and chat and have fun getting to know each other more instead of the username that they see everyday on the computer.

If you are bringing a guest or some guests, please make sure they bring in a little something. If you can't think of anything, bring a 12 pack of soda or some hamburger patties or something. Snacks, chips, drinks or whatever you can think of. Just something that can be shared amoung everyone. I would appreiciate it if everyone at least brings something to the meet.

CLEAN UP
Please be a good samaritan and clean up after yourselves. At our last meet, there was a wonderfully great impression left behind on Team-Integra and I was very proud to hear the results of it. Make sure the area is as clean as when we got there. Respect the people there. Heck if anyone is willing to bring garbage bags just so we can clean up, I'm cool with that too. I just hope if we have lots of garbage left over that they have enough garbage cans/bins for us to use.

NO "IF's", "AND's", or "BUT's"
There will be ABSOLUTELY NO TOLERTATION of:


Alcohol. Its a public area and everyone will need to drive back home. Alcohol will not be tolerated if found.


Similarly, attitudes and bad behaviors will also not be tolerated. This is an integra meet so lets try to keep the atmosphere as friendly as possible. The meet is afterall so that we integra owners can all get to know one another.


No burnouts or reckless driving. This is not a competition, but rather a social gathering.


No loud music. Yup you heard me. This is not a music competing contest, not will a meet of this kind ever be. We will not tolerate anyone bumping it in their car. Thats disturbing the peace that's there. We are basically visiters so please respect the area.


You will be asked to leave if you are found out of line (ie posssesion alcohol, attitude, behavior, etc.) so please don't put us in this situation. The last thing that we want to happen is be forced to leave. That would totally ruin out long planned and anticipated event.



VOLUNTEERS:

Again I will be needing some one to volunteer to bring the BBQ grill. I belive I heard cory mentioning that he's willing to bring is gas unit or something. typermonkey, are you willing to bring it again this time?

Again, please let me know what everyone is bringing to the meet so that no one else will bring the same thing as you are. This is only important if you are looking into bringing supplies. If you bring the same food as someone else, thats not a problem, just more food available. I just don't want paper plates, paper towel, etc., to be all over the place unused.

This was on the supraforums board too. I'm planning on coming out. That sounds kinda lame that you guys don't want anything but integs and rsx's out there though. that's fine if you guys want to do a photo opp. that would actually look pretty tight. the fact of the matter is that the word has spread about this meet as an all car/import meet. I've seen this on a bunch of other boards too. not just toyota and nissan boards so expect all kinds of cars. I say don't hate and just welcome everyone that wants to enjoy the company of other car guys. Wasn't there a meet in hayward or something that was supposed to be a prelude thing but a whole lot of other clubs came through. when ever i do a toyota or supra thing they don't mind other cars. the cars put in different parts of the lots but still in the same lot.

It's not lame. We have already claimed that day on that Island for a meet. We are all car enthusiasts and there are unwritten rules we all have to follow. Integras/RSX's and possibly a few assortment of Hondas will be coming to the meet. We would like to keep this to a strictly Integra/RSX/some Honda meet. You can come as spectator but please don't show up in droves. And yes you will park far far away from the meet.

You don't see Civics crashing into Supra Invade Las Vegas meets do you? Same here.

Another thing: If we have the meet and many other cars crash the spot, it is HIGHLY LIKELY that tensions will occur between owners. The last thing we need is a shouting match between BMWs and Supras trying to outburn and throwing bottles at each other on the Island.

If you have already told anyone else about this meet, please remind them that this is a strictly Integra/RSX meet that might include a few Honda. Any other cars are not likely to be very welcomed at the meet--you'll have to park on the other side of the Island many many blocks away from our meet spot.

Lexus and Euros are nice cars, we don't diss on them (UH..I want a Lex myself) but on that day we'd just like to reserve it for Integ enthusiasts of all generations.

That does not mean YOU cannot come. Just hitch a ride with a buddy with a Teg and you can come just fine. Your car, however, is another matter. And if you do come in a Teg hitch, please remember to bring some food as it is a potluck!

This is SRO. We posted here to alert Integra/RSX owners to the meet, NOT to other car owners. You should know this unwritten rule. The front of the post topic has stated that this is an Integra/RSX meet only, what do you not understand.

I see that you are over in the Nissan forum trashtalking about us. I'm sorry but you need to can the childish behavior. Our meet is strictly being reserved and planned for Integras of Northern California to come together and we are not in the mood of having any other cars other than Tegs/RSX/maybe a few Hondas crash our gathering. This is a social gathering being conducted by mature individuals, not a freakin import car show!

Is there something wrong with making an all-Integra meet? Must all car meets encompasses all cars? Do you SE-R guys like it if you have a huge meet and bunch of riced-out Civics come crashing in, even if they are not there to cause troubles?

I hope you would understand our point of views. This is all I have to say, if you don't understand by now then welll......preschool is always a good option.

Hello everyone, I'm from Team-Integra.net as well.

I'd like to add that we are not trying to segregate ourselves away from everyone else. Rather, we are trying to promote integra gathering so at one point or another, we can move on to a statewide meet and then onto a National Meet (or a National TI Convention). It takes a lot of dedication to and endurance to pull off a successful statewide meet, so with each North California meet we organize, we're trying to make steps in that direction.

Therefore, with that said, we would very much appreciate it if you respect our wishes to keep this meet an Integra (and RSX) only event.

Basically just check & read the first couple of post in this thread & tell me how welcomed other cars were. I don't understand about the whole...Any other cars are not likely to be very welcomed at the meet--you'll have to park on the other side of the Island many many blocks away from our meet spot.

It's not like that at all, he was just saying that this was planned to be an all teg/rsx meet to begin with. We just don't want 20-30 non tegs to show up and take over the meet that WE planned. I'm sure it'd be ok if you come but just park to the side if it's not an integra.

Also, don't worry about getting beat up or anything, TI is not like that at all. We were more worried about unwanted visitors coming to ruin our meet.

In reply to the dissing being trashed out by some SRO members on here.

What I meant is that the meet has been orchestrated and organized by Team Integra for nearly 3 months. We never said you cannot come, all we want to do is re-iterate the point that this is strictly an Integra/RSX meet. If you take it that you are not welcome to come to the MEET itself, then you're not reading correctly. If you do come in say a VW or a Toyota, then we would like to ask you to park far far away in the Island.

The truth is the best spot available for the meet is pretty much already subscribed to by our group. I'm pretty sure that as car enthusiasts we would know about not jumping in on other car group's reservation. True, there are no official reservation and there are no law preventing other car groups to crash our meet in a peaceful way. But truthfully, the unwritten rule stays and I hope that you all will take heed of that.

I'm not going to respond to the Supra person. But let's just say I've always enjoyed reading flame topics on Supraforums where you guys all clowned on those poor unsuspecting Civics. I used to own an MK3 T myself so I know wassup in there *wink*.

There are no rowdy activities, obviously, at most meets, but we would still like to minimize the risk as much as possible. At the last meet we had a Camaro who tried to show us Honda boys whassup, comes ripping out of a parking lot in full speed with pedestrians sitting around, took the wrong exit out the park, and spun out jumping a curb. It looked pretty funny but that's because no one was hurt....

TI-DC2 is one of our members I believe. We are putting out good will in organizing the meet and he took the good will a bit too far--it is not his fault but rather in how some people interprets his message. A CL/TL crew, as long as it is small and unintrusive, is of course welcome for after all they ARE HONDAS. Last meet we had several Civics, delsols, and S2K showed up but they numbered 7, Integs/RSX numbered nearly 55. You get what I'm getting at? Not to mention we had two domestic trucks at the last meet heheeh....

But anyways, thank you very much for your understanding.

The plan is now being solidified, with prizes and raffles being taken care of by our organizers. We are looking to see if speed shops can represent themselves (gotta take care of this quick because it's closing in on target date pretty fast) at the meet. RC contest and trivia contest are in the work of getting organized. I will be bringing my BitChar-Q Skyline all done up with fake CF hood, chrome exhausts, and rubberbands acting in place for slicks. I'm untouchable man!!!! HAAHAHAAH!!!

We welcome everyone, but would like to keep non-Integra/RSX rides to a minimum.

No one will be keying your cars here, we are not a bunch of rowdy kids. Many of us are college students and fathers and husbands, with cultured standards. Many of us compete in safe track events and keep the street racing to a bare minimum. This is a social gathering for mature individuals who owns Tegs/RSXs.

So yeah come out and check things out, last meet we had several supercharged Integras including one running 250whp on a Vortech crammer =D (Yes, as you can see, this is not your typical "Honda Ricer" meet..)

Well, I guess I get your point. Just remember that if this meet is not that big you pictured it. If you happen to see a dude in a white 2-Door Integra (right-hand drive); his name is Ernesto/Ernie (he maybe the only reason now why I'd be coming to this event because I told that I'd see him there at this meet; this was before all of this drama happened).

I might go with my friend in his Integra to this meet, but still not having high hopes as once before for this event. If it was me throwing an all Integra/RSX meet...yes I wouldn't mind that much if other types of cars that came out to my meet because in a way they seem to be more than eager to come out to our event (think of it as this way; you should be lucky & thankful enough that they're even taking the time to come out to your event).

SRO members may not all have a car that fits this event, but no we show respect for your cause & would come out anyways to support it though (that's why you guys posted it on this website; especially under the Nor-Cal Racers section). I mean people like us are actually willingly to take that day off from work & take a drive out there; just to go to this event for the Integra/RSX meet. I would personally be flattered by that, but just understand that concept under my point of view (people would still give you guys credit for throwing the meet).

Alright fellas, here's the situation. I posted to inform people that there will be an Integra/RSX meet for June 8, 2003. I've had many replies asking if they can go even though they dont have an Integra/RSX. I really don't have any problems with that at all. As a matter of fact I would enjoy other people who didn't have Integras/RSXs to check out what it'd be like to have one or whatever. It's cool that people are actually willing to come out to see us. Wouldn't you guys feel good if people WANTED to come and check out your ride?? The only problem I have with this is UNAUTHORIZED people posting new threads on their boards inviting their cars to come and claim that it is an everybody meet when in actuality it is an Integra/RSX meet. I am a car lover and enjoy cars other than Integra/RSXs. Please don't think that we're hating on other cars because this is simply not the case. We planned an Integra/RSX meet and want to keep it that way. I still encourage people to come and check it out. :)

hm....unfortunately i wasn't able to make it out. problems with the b20 install.....but it looked like alot of fun and i know a bunch of my friends had a lot of fun.....ps...this is cory from ti.
