So what are peoples oppinions about underdrive pulleys? Is it really worth that extra 7lbs of torque to underdrive everything in your car, like A/C, and Powersteering. Does that effect the flow of your water pump? I guess it would be worth it, but I'm affraid it would cause more problems than I'm comfortable with.

Yeah, I know what you mean. I live in Arizona and to give up the great feeling of an AC in a 115 degrees is just harsh. Not to mention that the power steering helps you for easier handling, but I could live with out it. As for keeping your car cool, well you could get an after cooler and a oil cooler. The problem is having the enough space. It all depends on how much horse power you have and what torque you want to get. If you really want to get torque, then you could get a fuel cell and get rid of you fuel thank wich will weight alot more. The problem is that you might have to run a whole fuel system. Also you could take off the back seats and just leave the passenger or also take it off when you go street racing. There is alot of things that you could take off your car to had more torque and horse power. Taking the AC could be hard if you live in a hot state, if not then go for it. Remember that you could always put it back.

My car never came with an AC, so one less pulley for me to get. =)

I installed the pullies on my car (99 Civic EX) and there has been no adverse conditions from them. Steering is the same as before, and the alternator still puts out the same amount. I have an AEM Pulley set, they are just bigger in diameter and lighter. Which means less work to spin the damn things, and less times it would have to go around to do the same job.

4realz though, Id hella get one if they had it.

Hey man don't laugh. I got my ass whooped by a stock Tacoma last Sunday autocrossing in the rain!!! God it was embarassing for me, oh well.

Maybe I should race you in the rain, hehe, just to say I beat a VR6
