what do i need for engine swap?

hi, i was wondering if anyone can give me a COMPLETE list of what i need for a b16a2 or b18c1 engine swap onto my 92 civic CX HB. Obviously i need the engine, the ecu, new axles... any help would be much appreciated

you pretty much named everything you need. you are in luck, 92 hatches already come wired for vtec so that will save you money, also you use stock mounts for any b series engine. a b16a swap into a 92 hatch is very very easy. So if you aren't going to do it yourself a shop shouldnt charge you much..

Does the transmission come with the engine?

the only problem that you will have is if you get a first gen b16a. you can tell by its plugs, which are a nasty yelow.
the manifold and all its components needs to be changed to an obd1 style and alot of plugs will need to be splice,
its not hard, but time consuming and head ache material
