Hey guys. What else can I do to improve my gas mileage? Besides an aftermarket intake and exhaust. Please don't bring that "stickers, neons" and other rice comments in here. Thanks guys.

smooth work with the feet, higher air pressure in the tires, and learn to draft.....

Better ignition system, different gearing, softer driving.

I think I'll replace some sensors. I did a full tune up today and I'm doing the oil change myself tommorow. Anyways, Thanks for the inputs guys.

Tyres
If everything runs sweet and your tyres aren't inflated to correct preassure, you will still lower your mileage.
You
The best mod you could ever do is improve the driver, improve the way you use your brakes. They actually speed you up intead of slow you down if you use them right.
Coaster
Coaster down and threw everything, and set a new record.

I think if you drive your car in the power range it betters your gas mileage.
I used to drive my car very soft because thought it was better for the gas mileage.
Then i started driving it and always running it in the power range. I found i saved about a 1/4 tank a day by doing that.
I think it is because if I'm not driving above 3000 rpms it seems to take more gas to move the car the same distance because i gotta push the pedal down farther to get it to accelerate and there fore more gas to go the same distance.
When i am rnning always above 3000 rpm i just need to barely push the pedal to go the same distance so its using less gas or running more efficiently.
keep your tires to maximum pressure but do it when they are hot so you dont blow a tire when they heat up.
change oil on time
change air filter often as it look a little dirty.
as diavolo said you may be losing mileage with the exhaust. But that depends on the type and size and how yourcar reacts to it.

You can't tune it, just replace it. I recently replaced my lazy o2 sensor (trying to figure out why I get poor mpg), and my gas mileage went down a little more.

uh, but only if your only goal is fuel economy. If you want any kind of grip, you should not overinflate your tires.

it's always best to get an OEM o2 sensor.
aftermarket sensors are not set up the same as the factory one.
as cars get older, the engine will start to eat more fuel.
even you if you change sensors, filters, ignition.
changing the fuel filter will help. People neglect that part.

i thought you weren't supposed to change the air filter a lot? i thought that having the filter dirty helps trap more dirt and debris. i could be totally wrong though.
