Ok, I was going down SH-183 in Irving with my camera recording (got it mounted in-between the front seats so I can record while I drive alone) and I noticed a new Lude get on from Belt Line. I immediately sped up to get next to him, and I think he noticed me pull alongside, cause he sped up and went around a car in his lane and then got back even with me. We were going a slow 80 by now, and he pulled in front of me. Now we were both in the left lane, and I noticed him stomp it cause I saw his car lurch cause it had downshifted. I left it in 5th and just gunned it. He barely even pulled on me. We got up to about 118ish when he slowed for a group of cars in the way. Well, I slowed to 100, and took a few gaps and left him. I slowed to 80 and waited for him to catch up, but he never did. He finally took the SH-360 exit, and I called it a win. DAMN IT, I wanted to race more. I drove 5 hrs from Ft. Polk and that was the only race. At least I got it recorded.

I like the Ludes, cause they look fucking SWEET!! But I really thought they performed better. My brother in law has one, and it's real nice. He said they have no power until you get to about 5000 rpms. So maybe they Lude I was racing was still below 5000 rpms, I dunno, but I still stayed with him, and then passed him. If someone will tell me how to post the video on the web, I will, but right now I only have it on VHS. Sorry.

the newer ludes are just a little more heavy also. the generation before that model are lighter and you can get the same engine in it. they aren't slow. But good any prelude kill to me is a good kill eventhough I own one.

check yoself foo, prelude power! j/p

props for killing a lude

reason they are good at 5000+ rpms is the VTEC

and they r pretty heavy but watch out, it has lot of torque compared to most engines
