coming home from my GF's place, driving along on the San Mateo Bridge I see headlights comin' up quicker than the usual speed. I speed up a little bit so I can pace with him when he catches up to me. Moments later I verify that it was an older Maxima (the generation before current) with a G lookin driver looking for some action. Looked all stock. I see this and react accordingly, weaving to the right most lane to pass up a car in front as he stays in his left lane. He sees this and paces me. I see this and when I do, I drop the hammer! Now were goin at it 100, 105, 110+. I slowly inch up ahead of him at about 120+. I look up and I see brake lights comin up fast, so I hit the brakes and so does he. He brakes late, and comes real close to rear-ending someone (dork). Then he cuts back to the right lane. Seeing this I cut to the left lane trying to catch up, but then some dude in a Penske truck cuts me off to pass up a slower car in front of him, blocking both lanes. I said arrggghhh, I couldn't catch up. oh well, sometimes timing gets tricky on freeway runs...

I was racing a Type-R integra in my Sentra. It was pretty funny cuz somehow i was keeping up in light traffic. finally the dude got his opening and dusted me. I like racing on the bridge tho :)

actually a good part of the race happened on that curvy part of the bridge going downhill. I had to be careful...

gotta watch out for that curve man. the wind there can possibly blow ur car into the next lane or make u lose control...risky business.

My sentra's really low, so right before that bend about 1/4 mile up I always bottom out there. I think it might be the bridge strectching? But that straight away rocks. It's like 5 miles of the straightest road. It just amazes me that they could me it so straight. I raced a viper in my 944 last night. I was in the lead and he followed my ass. Of course he's got the power to kill me, but he knew it and just played it cool.

Be careful out there ;)
I've seen a really bad accident at that bend. A Civic Si plowed into the center barrier and dismembered the car pretty good (not sure if the driver was mortally wounded). If you look closely you can see where it wrecked cause the center divide is all messed up.
BTW, the San Mateo measures 13 miles in distance, WOOHOO!!
