View Full Version : anyone get violation 23109c (wheel spinning)?
penal code #23109c is BULLSHIT!
a misdemeanor for just accidently slipping off the clutch
(breaking of traction...................)
punishable by 4 days of jail and 1000 dollar fine!!!!!!
what kind of bullshit was that.
i was just at a damn stop sign and it was partially raining.
And cops wonder why we dislike them soooo much!
Anyone else get that citation?

hehe , yeah i'm sure its a lot more over here in cali...
it's hella more. the description of my ticket was unsafe start. it was (is) like $500.
late
yeah....
i told the judge what happened and he only charged me $238
but it was still a misdemeanor to fuck up my perfect racer record which i was so proud of since i always put in 3-4 runs when i go out. i guess i had it coming but not like that...at a damn stop sign in the rain going to pick up my girlfriend (x-girlfriend). that was some bullshit.
good court tip: dress up, get a haircut, use professional vocabulary and wear some clear nerdy looking glasses even if you don't need them. be apologetic and tell the judge about how you are trying to go to school and take care of your mom etc. etc.
get my drift.
they screw you so atleast try to get out of it... most of the time the officers never show up anyways.
research your citations and see what its all about.
pea ce!
daammnn that fucking ticket.
another tip... if an officer sees you and your kinda doing something wrong.... smile and wave...but not sarcastic. it helps.

When an officer sees somebody spin their tires and they choose to give a ticket, they can cite for either unsafe start or Exhibition of speed.
Unsafe start would fit the situation you described. My guess is that reality was a little different than the way you described it though. Unsafe start is an infraction. Exhibition of speed is a misdemeanor.
If you get a ticket from SJPD, expect a 99.9% chance the officer will show up in court.

SJPD
i know quite a few police officers from SJPD, and they always say that not a high number show up in court... maybe things have changed.
also... it was santa clara that gave me that ticket and it was exactly what i described...so step.
most sjpd i know are cool peepz...i hope the best for you also sjpopo...remember if a person wants respect they need to start with showing some respect.
another thing...
its always the officer that saw everything even though they were'nt there. i personally know a couple crooked cops that tell eachother stories about how they did this and that to someone just because they did'nt like there attitude.
live a longer life by recognizing that life is fragile and some people have bad days that can put them over that edge.
the edge which leads to death of themselves and others.
when a person looses self respect that is when they are most capable of taking another life and their own.
peace.

death threat or plea of insanity??????
its amazing how people interpret things the wrong way so often. LMAO.
hahaahaa.
anyways...i give props to the officers that come on this board and give us advice by counseling us etc.
and i have nothin' but disrespect to all you flame starters who don't even own a car and come on this board sidebustin and startin flames.understand!
