can anyone tell me an affordablle way to get a 420A for a 96 eclipse...yes its a chrysler....but i wanna swap in a 4G63 and tranny DSM engine...any pointers ?

do you want a 420 of 4g?...assuming you already have the 420, why do you want another if you're just gonna swap in the 4g?:confused:......

cash is an issue..unfortuantely...i live with on a military paycheck...and i threw a rod onthe 420 so to stay cheap i go 420 again or just go big and get the 4g and tranny.

i'm saying should i go 4g and tranny and just live off of ramen noodles and water for a month or two. or go easy and get another 420.....im looking for a good buy on a 4g, where can i find one

a 4G will fit in my car with a tranny swap also,....i have to get the entire longblock, elctrical, etc etc. and its AWD b/c it was all i could think of ! pardon me

i called almost 10 tranny shops yesterday, and the performance shop i take my car to for everything said it would work...what gives....this is becomeing frustrating....i WANT TURBO and i need a new engine too !! ?!? help me help me please

HOLY SHIT....okay so the safest smartest thing would be get a donor 420A engine, and then go turbo kit ??

if you wanted to rebuild the 420 with good parts and then turbo it, you'll have all the performance you'll ever want....plus it will be a little easier on the pocketbook if you can buy things in steps instead of dropping all the money at once, if it was even possible.....you can get 420's all over the place...start in the phone book under salvage parts or go to www.carparts.com ....

thanks...thats what sounds like to be the single most reasonable thing to do anyway...rebuild the 420A get a Hahn drppoed in after i recover the bank....and go from there
