CA, USA to Ontario, Canada?

Every place on the net requires me to wait for a quote. Does anyone know of a good place that can ship a car for cheap? I'm willing to pick it up at a train station or something.

Post the links!

Thanks.

What is A1 freight? I'm not familiar with shipping.

I heard somewhere around $400. The weight dimension, its a Japanese sports car <3000ibs.

It might also be easiest to have it shipped to Detroit, Buffalo, or Port Huron, go there with the paperwork, and then drive it across.

I'll pay someone $100+ gas to drive it here. :D (j/k)

but 1US/Mile is a lot, I might as well get a plane ticket and drive it up myself.

100 bucks to drive it from what city to what city. Oh yeah, it better not be a piece of shit either. I don't want to use my 100 to fix that bitch on the way up.

Yeh I was debating about buying a car from Cali to import to Seattle but I dunno. I'd have to test drive it in and out, have a mechanic test it out aka compression any enginer probs etc. It would suck to hear the guy over the phone says its good which EVERYBODY does I'm finding out then you come look at it and you find stuff wrong with it. Imagine hearing its all good and you c pictures and you pay the money for the car and transportation, then you get it delivred and shits wrong with it. To many risks for a potentian to go wrong. I think the factor is price range. I'm spending over 10k for a used car so thats a huge investment for me.
